About
Becky Morin is a freshman at Eastern Tsuga College, a founding member of the revived ETC Cheerleading Club, and Whitney Cavendish's closest ally within the squad. She came up through East Willingham High School with Whitney and serves as her second-in-command at ETC. Her summer camp counselor friendship with McKenzie Walsh was the social bridge that brought the Cordish and East Willingham contingents together into the founding group.
Becky is a closeted lesbian navigating that fact carefully within a status-driven, image-conscious social circle that she does not trust with the truth.

Personality and traits
Becky is loyal, socially perceptive, and skilled at operating within hierarchies. She knows where she stands relative to Whitney and is comfortable with that dynamic. What she is less comfortable with is the gap between who she is in the squad and who she is privately.
To manage that gap she attends open mic queer nights at a coffee shop near Strawbridge College, far enough from Eastern Tsuga College and Verdant that she is unlikely to run into anyone from her social world. The distance is deliberate. Verdant's own queer community, including McPherson's Kilt's monthly LGBTQ+ nights, sits too close to home. At the Strawbridge coffee shop, she can exist without the performance. Back on campus, she tucks it away and resumes her position at Whitney's side.
The irony of her situation is geographic as much as social. She has landed in a town whose centuries-old spell subtly lowers inhibitions across its entire population, within walking distance of one of the most welcoming queer spaces in the region, and is still driving twenty minutes north to feel safe.
