Elijah Wolski, known as Eli, is the owner and operator of Eli's Dive Bar (Avery's Social Club) at the northern edge of Verdant. He took over the bar in 1989 from Avery Tadych under disputed circumstances. Some say he forced Tadych out. He spray-painted over the original Avery's Social Club sign; the ghost of the original text is still visible beneath the paint.
Eli's background beyond the bar is murky. Unconfirmed rumors circulate about involvement in prostitution, smuggling, and organized crime connections. None of this has been confirmed in canon.
