About

The Feral Jackals is a motorcycle club whose clubhouse sits roughly halfway between Verdant and Strawbridge College on the route north. The club drinks at Eli's Dive Bar (Avery's Social Club) while their actual operations are based at the clubhouse further up the road. They are a canon SSU organization with an established presence in the Verdant area. The modern club operates under a consensual ethic that distinguishes it from its rougher past.

The Feral Jackals also run the Feral Jackal Distillery and Brewing operation out of the clubhouse, a legitimate business that produces whiskey, gin, vodka, and brandy. All distilling is done by the club's women.

Clubhouse

The Feral Jackals Clubhouse is located in a building that was formerly a small butcher shop, on a dirt parking lot approximately halfway between Verdant and Strawbridge. The women's bathroom floor has a drain originally used for blood. The main room functions as a bar and gathering space. A back hallway contains individual rooms for women who live at the clubhouse.

A breezeway at the entry has a wall of pegs, one per member, each labeled with the member's name. Guest collars in pink hang separately. Bear Cat keeps keys to all collars. A separate back room houses the Feral Jackal Distillery and Brewing operation.

Known members

Bear Cat

The leader of the Feral Jackals. Real name unknown. He is a large man with a worn face and a full beard, trimmed at least once every five years. He wears a leather jacket with a Bear Cat nameplate. Unexpectedly gentlemanly within his own framework: he enforces consent within the club, calls out disrespect from members, and uses charm and patience over force. He always carries the keys to all members' and guests' collars and gives guests a key that does not fit their collar, ensuring they return to him for removal. He reads people quickly and accurately. The Feral Jackal Distillery and Brewing operation began with his whiskey recipe seven years before the events of Allie's Descent.

Lobo

A senior member and Bear Cat's right hand. Always runs a GoPro on his bike. Married, though he still looks at other women. Has a record of filming guests without explicit consent.

Cow

Bear Cat's primary companion. Lives with him off-site from the clubhouse. Holds a degree of authority over other club women. She was formerly a student at Eastern Tsuga College, met Lobo at a gas station, was brought to the clubhouse, and stayed. She has been with the club long enough to graduate from a collar room to living with Bear Cat. Her support of incoming women is genuine but also serves the club's interests.

Prospect

A Feral Jackals initiate whose real name has not been established. Was removed from Eli's Dive Bar (Avery's Social Club) by Bear Cat for disrespecting a guest, confirming the club's internal hierarchy operates even off-premises.

The Eli's connection

The Feral Jackals drink at Eli's Dive Bar (Avery's Social Club) as their Verdant social base, while their clubhouse is on the road to Strawbridge. The club's presence at Eli's is a fixture of the bar's atmosphere and contributes to its reputation as unwelcoming to outsiders.
